Creating a Cave
It took about 1.7 million years for acidic groundwater to create the cave. Though the flow of water is much less now that it once was, the cave are still growing
Column formation where stalactite and stalagmite meet
Popcorn like formation means there is a way out nearby
Cave Temperature
Im not prepared I have no idea :( before the Tree of Mystery
in Klamath we been first to Shasta Cavern this cave was so
magnifecient with all those stalactite and stalagmite formation wow
grabe ang ganda im wishing that time sana may ganun din sa Pinas. My
body can tolerate the coldness inside the cave so in Oregon Cave I
thought the temperature was the same. Im the kind of traveler that as
possible I dont like to learn the place where im going before I go
there I want to learn it and see it the actual time I was there thats
how I feel the thrill of the adventure, even though there were
information and guide about the place I decided not to look at and
read. Inside the information center there is a basket where you can
borrow a jacket if you dont have one before you get inside the cave.
I still dont mind it though I saw most of the people in my batch got
jacket from the basket even they have already a jacket. Im so excited
and im ready to go for the last minute the ranger took my attention
and ask me “are you sure your not gonna get jacket? Its cold
inside” she was concerned so I got 1 though in my mind Shasta and
this cave are just the same so i'll be fine.
Getting inside the Oregon
Cave is like getting inside the freezer I thought im just getting
into a fridge like in the Shasta hahah. The tour inside the cave
lasted for about an hour. When we finally got out and feel my feet I
felt moisture on my slipper and realized that my feet are defrosting
like ice :)) LOL thats why my feet feels so hard cos it freeze :))
